“Sometimes while gazing at the night’s sky, I imagine stars looking down making wishes on the brightest of us.”
–Making Wishes
Hey bookworms!
Hope you’re having an amazing day.
I want to dedicate this list to the beautiful stars that we live under and the wishes we make on them, as gushy as that sounds. I came up with this theme one night after work. It was freezing cold on my way out to the car. I can see my frosty breath and there’s a coat of frost on the patches of grass and the glisten of potential ice on the asphalt across the parking lot. Then I pause in the middle of the pothole road after glancing up, muttering about this ridiculous cold making me shiver painfully. The stars are out. I realize how crisp the air is when I breathe in through my nose and smile, taking this moment to appreciate that I can see Orion. He’s cool. I wish I had an awesome belt like his.
